Quiz Night returns on 24 October to raise a glass and funds our village hall

If you've been before, you'll know that our Village Quiz Nights are a little bit special. If you haven't, now is the perfect time to find out why they've become one of the most anticipated events in the village calendar.

Join us for an evening of laughter, friendly rivalry, delicious home-cooked food and, of course, a brilliantly challenging quiz created by our local quiz masters.

This year's event has an important purpose. Following a recent structural survey, we're raising funds towards two major projects that will help protect our much-loved hall for years to come. We need to undertake significant drainage works to prevent leaks and further water damage beneath the building and carry out urgent repairs to the retaining wall in the car park.

The good news? Supporting these projects has never been so much fun.

Whether you're a quiz enthusiast, a serial guesser or simply coming along for the food and banter, there's something for everyone.

Your evening includes:

• A reasonably priced bar (cards accepted)

• Delicious home-cooked food

• A mind-boggling quiz

• Plenty of laughs and friendly competition

Teams are six people, but don't worry if you can't fill a table. Come along anyway and we'll help match you with a team on the night.

Doors open at 7.00pm. Tickets are £10 per person.

Please book online where possible. Tickets will also be available at the next village breakfast on September 12.
