Charity and Fundraising

More  Ways to Support

Our Hall is a small charity run for the benefit of our friendly cluster of hamlets by a committed group of voluntary Trustees and other volunteers.

We were registered as a charity in 1962 with the aim of maintaining a building for community activities, ranging from education classes, pantomime, concerts and band practice to fundraising events.

Our fundraising quest continues – there is always something needed to repair, rejuvenate or replace.

Our next target is to raise £5,000 to contribute to some new chairs and revamp our bar area providing more up to date equipment, appliances and storage,  one day the roof will need to be replaced!

Here's how you can support us and your community

Raise the Bar

Our bar needs love and attention. Whilst we don't expect Tom Cruise to be throwing bottles around any time soon – we would love to be able to offer a fully equipped bar area for everyone that books, attends and enjoys our events.

Leave a Legacy

The ultimate gift to the community and local friends through your will.

Leaving a gift in your will is a way of giving back to your local friends and community. After showing you care for your family and friends, consider giving something back to the community you love by leaving a lasting gift to the Hall in your will.

It doesn’t have to be a large sum to make a difference.

Run an Event

From garage sales, nominating us your chosen charity for a fun-run or half marathon to booking the hall for a quiz night. We welcome all ideas for raising funds for our hall to ensure that we can keep hire charges as low as possible.

Get in touch with your idea ‘in aid of’ All Saints and District Village Hall and we can try and help support with ideas and advice.

Gift Aid It!

As of 2019 we can also benefit from Gift Aid enabling us to leverage 25% of every kind donation! If you would like to ensure we can benefit from Gift Aid on your donation, please complete our form.

If you have ideas for fundraising activities, please contact us.
