All Saints Summer Village Show 2022
Saturday July 16th 1.30pm to 4.30pm
At last we are able to welcome you to the All Saints Village Show 2022. For the ‘old-timers’, the schedule will look broadly familiar with classes for cooks, flower arrangers, flower gardeners, vegetable growers, artists, photographers, crafters and young people with flair and enthusiasm. The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted a small but relevant change to the schedule. This year’s committee has decided, after some considerable thought, that the ‘men and boys’ class is outdated in 2022 so we have re-allocated the Louise Doman Cup to become first prize for The Junior Classes, which have been extended.
We believe there is a competitor in all of us but if you would prefer to just peruse the exhibits, enjoy cream teas, wander around the stands in the playground, catch up with friends and meet new people, you won’t be disappointed!
There is little doubt that you will want to have a go at the raffle; the prizes this year are truly amazing. The Church will host Chardstock Historical Records Group, and we are planning to showcase local photographs new and old. There is so much to look forward to, including ice-creams courtesy of Wise-Owls, a tombola from All Saints School PTFA, home-made fudge, information on trees and local footpaths, Dave Chambers and his bees, and more. We hope there will be something for everyone, be it in the hall, the school or the church on July 16th 2022.
